Founder, creative mind and heart of the Rhön message
Bjoern completed his culinary training for 3 years at the 5-star Hotel Bareiss in the Black Forest
Subsequently, he learned from the Grand Dame of Austrian cuisine, Lisl Bacher in the Wachau, how a family business can be successful at the highest level
He started with Andreas Caminada in 2004 at Schloss Schauenstein in Fürstenau, Switzerland, and earned the first stars and points
In 2007, he moved to his parents' business in Hilders, which he developed until the Rhön Embassy
In 2018, he could not resist the offer and moved with the entire Rhön delegation to Dermbach in the SaxenHof
Bjoern not only creates all culinary experiences on the plate but also all jams and fruit spreads in the hotel himself
The family's attention is focused on the 3 children Laurin, Liam, and Carlotta in their free time
Athleticism was and is tennis his passion
He holds Anselm Grün in high regard, the Benedictine Rules, and is a systemic constellator
His dream car is a Saab900 or as he says himself. A Porsche station wagon

She is often on the road in the Rhön with her small family and can give you good excursion tips

She has been a fixed member of the embassy team since 2019 and also enjoys supporting in housekeeping

Kathrin supports us where she can, also jumps in for breakfast or in the kitchen
She is a trained lifeguard
When Kathrin is free, you can find her and her family in Gumpelstadt
Kathrin is happy to give you tips if you feel a pull or crunch after the hike

the front woman and good soul of our housekeeping team
Here the name is the program: She is one of the first in the hotel
Kerstin has been with the Housekeeping Team the longest; since 2021, she has been a permanent member of the Embassy Team, but she was already working as a temporary assistant before that
she is most pleased when guests feel at home in a room she has prepared.
Kerstin loves all furry friends and four-legged creatures above all and is happy when they are guests in our house
You and your family live in Kaltennordheim and can also be found in the local Rhön in your free time
If you need anything for your four-legged friends, Kerstin is happy to make it possible

learned to be a chef and is the constant in the kitchen team
Annette has been cooking by Bjoern's side since 2012 and is fit for every position in the kitchen
she is the first to arrive in the morning and is indispensable to our team
Annette also enjoys chatting with the guests in the courtyard
and lives with her tomcat outside the gates of Bad Salzungen
In her free time, she visits her family in Berlin or sometimes in Ireland

has been completing our service team since 2020 and has been firmly in the embassy team since then
Ben has completed training as a restaurant specialist and bartender
he is a proud dad of a little daughter and lives near Schmalkalden
All colleagues love Ben for his unmistakable laugh, which is truly contagious
If you have a special cocktail request, feel free to ask, he is happy to make a lot possible here, if we have all the ingredients
He prefers cocktails and bartending, taking care of the drink menu and innovations in the field
he often spends his free time with his family and friends at the grill in the garden

Franzi has been with us as a temporary employee since 2020 and does this in her spare time
Franziska's main job is team management in an office
she lives with her family in Bad Salzungen
We are still looking for the right match for Franziska :) (Applications in writing are welcome, we will pass them on)

Dominik supports the kitchen and Karolina the service and the counter
The two support us as temporary workers since 2021 and still work full-time in Geisa
Karolina and Dominik are usually there on Saturdays and Sundays
